The White River Amphitheater, located on the Muckleshoot Indian Reservation in nearby Auburn, offers visitors and their families the opportunity to see some concerts by musical performers such as Sting, Jimmy Buffet, Heart, and the Iron Maiden. This venue seats 20,000 people and features two large video screens. This amphitheater has hosted many different music festivals.
For those visitors and their families who are racing enthusiasts, there is Pacific Raceways, located in nearby Kent. There is a combination of two different racetracks at this facility including a 2.25 mile road course and a quarter mile NHRA dragstrip, both of which are used for race cars as well as motorcycles.
Lake Wilderness Park, located in nearby Maple Valley, offers visitors and their families a meandering pathways, preserved forests, and a pristine shoreline. The amenities for visitors and their families to enjoy at this park include access to the Cedar River trail, a boat launch, fishing, swimming, large grassy areas, walking paths, two outdoor tennis courts, three picnic shelters, picnic tables with barbeque grills, and a play area for children with play structures and swings. This park is a great place to enjoy a family picnic.
At Snoqualmie Falls, located between nearby Fall City and Snoqualmie, visitors and their families can enjoy the breathtaking view of these famous 270 foot waterfalls, in addition to the Salish lodge, an observation deck, and a gift shop. This two acre park is probably best known for being the home of the television series Twin Peaks.
Visitors and their families can enjoy seeing the World's Largest Radio Flyer Wagon, located in nearby Spokane. The inspiration for this wagon was the 45 foot tall Coaster Boy at the World's Fair of 1933 and was a Radio Flyer model. This wagon has wheels that are eight feet in diameter, is 13 feet wide, and 27 feet long.
The Cedar River Smokehouse Barbeque, located in nearby Renton, is a great place for visitors and their families to satisfy their hunger after a long day of sightseeing around Fairfield. This smokehouse offers visitors some of the best barbeque in the area. They offer many different smoked meat dinners including their famous St. Louis Pork Ribs. The service is gracious, the prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the barbeque is outstanding in this great American restaurant.
